Hello matey and welcome to the site!

What's it like having a T16 under the bonnet? Quick I'm betting? Has it affected the handling much?

Not really around bournemouth but we have meets all over the country so feel free to come along! The next is in Gaydon on the 27th :D

Yeah she's quick - running 12psi at the moment. Got the 197bhp t16 that was in the 220 coupe and the later vitesse i think - and that didn't run 12psi, more around the 4 mark. until rovertech do their next local rolling road i wont know exactly what she's putting out. If you don't know anything about rovertech, it's a great site for rover owners and have thousands with good knowledge about anything to do with rovers - recommended

As for the handling - it aint a problem, shes been lowered 60mm on Avo springs with the ZR shocks, not much body roll and grips on 17 inch ZR alloys.

Recently gave her a battery to boot conversion so the air filter isn't crammed up against the engine. Running a little better now, a little more response with more cold air.

Looking to add an uprated intercooler and a possible T3 turbo. Heard that the T3 had quick spooling like the 25 and the power of a 28, so could be a nice result. Also would be good to chuck in an extra 6 - 8 psi on the old boost, though should uprate the pistons and rods. Looking for someone breaking an M series engine out of the Rover tickford, Aston Martin got their hands on. Rare as they only tickered with a couple of hundered. The rods are good for about 400bhp so i've heard.

Anyway, thats where i'm at with her, so i'll keep people posted :)

Dorchester, i know it well, i work in County Hall sometimes in their IT department. I see a girl driving a BRM on the Blandford/Wimborne road with the massive line of trees down it clockwork around 8.20am. Shame i'm in a van and not the BRM at the time lol

No, never taken the BRM to dorchester. Go to Bournemouth a little though. I live in New Milton and work there too, but take the van out to jobs in the south.

Well I'm only in Southampton but head down that way quite often, usually driving through New Milton. I usually do the Classic Cars on the Prom in Bournemouth some Sundays during the summer with my Princess Wedges.

Seen a BRM around Dorchester, don't think they are on the forum then.
