Those who are friends with me on Facebook will be aware that on Tuesday night, my clutch cable decided its had enough and snapped.
After a couple of hours that included my mate and sister towing me into a layby and running home to get another cable. I got the car home under her own power.
I have brought the cable for the PG1 box, a new one this time.
Thing is I had to use a clutch cable for the R65 box, which is a little shorter then the one for the PG1 box.
I have got the correct cable now, ready to go on. But the question is, is it ok to run with the R65 cable as they are a pain to change, well the lift the lever up to disengage the cable, and then in the foot well to unclip from the pedal, and as I am not very flexable I struggle with this.
Do I keep the R65 one on the car and keep the PG1 in the boot as a just in case, or change them when dad gets back from the Isle of Man?
