had my 200 vi for a while now, did change my disks to these over a year ago http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ROVER-200-VI-VVC-DRILLED-GROOVED-BRAKE-DISC-FR-RR-/330354988501?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4ceab115d5
and they were good for a while but now have gone terrible, think they are just chep crap, so been looking at a set of brembo max brake disks any one had any experiance with these?
i know a few people here will say upgrade to 620it brakes but cant afford it at the moment

I really don't know about 'upgraded' parts, but if we were asked to write a list of manufacturers of performance brakes, I think most of us would have Brembo in there somewhere and wouldn't have thought you'd go far wrong with them.
We've fitted OE equivalent discs and pads from Mintex on both our BRMs and they seem to be very much up to the job.
If you did go for brakes off a Ti or a ZS180 / ZR160, I don't think they fit under the standard Vi ('vision'?) alloys without spacers. . . . . and I really don't like the idea of using spacers.

Depends what you want out of a system?
on my BRM i replaced the hoses (std to braided) got some good quality standard discs, black diamond preadator pads and some decent fluid.
This was more than suitable for road driving and i rolled upto track days and suffered minimal issues with this setup as well.
