Hurry up!!! will look wicked when its done :D
Got a lot further last night, the strippings all done apart from a small bit of the edge and the middle.
Next its rubbing down and building up with high build primer, then spraying. I figured if I use the mesh from the original grill, the mesh I bought I can do the lower grill with :mml:

Are you gonna paint it Orange????
Nope, sparkle silver like the rest of the trim.
Well its been a while, i've had so much on, but I finished stripping the grill tonight and started spraying it up. All primered now so the silver starts tomorrow :D

Should look good mate.
First coat of Sparkle Silver is now on, looking good so far. I do hate spray cans though, as the runs are a pain in the arse! (No pun intended)

That will look great when it's done. Trust that bloody fly to stick to it.
You offering to do anyone else's Adam :smile1:
If you fancy sending me your grill I'll give it a go for you. The most annoying thing is getting the chrome off in the first place, so frustrating!
Its going on the car on Saturday so pictures will be up then :D
Well I got on with some work before the rain kicked in and managed to get the bumper off, grill removed, fog lights out (one was a complete bitch and required an impact driver and pliers to undo the screw).
Got to go to the autofactors tomorrow to get a few new clips, screws, etc as some are totally knackered after being on the car for 8 years :slap:
Here's some piccies..........

yep the silver effect looks soooo much better then the chrome.
That signature could be worth something :)
Thats exactly what I thought Daz, just like the prototype too :D
Fits with the trim on the boot too.
