SUNDAY 20/11/11 - 13:00
The HALFWAY HOUSE - BRENTWOOD

WELCOME

We are MG-ROVER - LONDON, a group of like minded owners of all
different models of MG-ROVER's from down the years who meet
up once a month to chat, share ideas, thoughts, parts and to just
make the most of a lazy sunday afternoon.

We meet up on the 3rd Sunday of the Month at our latest location,
The Halfway House in Brentwood, we came to this location based
on the fact that we needed somewhere that isn't so urban and
congested as some of our earlier meets had been.

The new location has a massive car park, serves great food and its
easy to get to as the A127 is straight off the M25 at Junction 29,
after trying various locations this has proven to be a good meeting place,
accommodating for the numbers that we attracted from .org and the
many other Forum Members that come.Later in the year we may also
meet here and cruise into Southend on sea

We arrive at a designated time which is early in the afternoon
so that we can make a day of it and avoid the dark nights In
Autumn / Winter

With this now being quite well established there are a lot of members
that have got to know each other and formed a strong group of friends
and we are often joined by other forum/car club members, making this a
great opportunity for advise, friendship, general chat and photography

We will always do our best to have the Meets at venues with
facillities so if the Weather takes a turn for the worst or if its the
Winter Months there is always somewhere warm to sit with all the
facilities needed

These Meets are Family Friendly and we welcome anyone to
participate,I personally as meet rep will make sure no person is left
unwelcome,we are always looking for new meet venues so if you
can suggest a good meet location then tell us and we can chat
about it on the forum or at the meet.

There are a good handful of us from all over the London, Kent and
Essex areas but we gladly welcome more, if you know any other
Members from the various forums you are on or just other MG Rover
owners please spread the word

We have a few basic rules for the Meet, this is to make sure we
Represent theBRM.co.uk ,mg-rover.org and MG-ROVER - LONDON in a good manner

1. NO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR
2. NO WHEEL SPINS
3. NO BURN-OUTS
4. NO DOHNUTS
5. NO DANGEROUS MANUVERS (Handbreak turns etc)

ANY BREECH OF THESE RULES AND YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM ATTENDING

Might be able to make a little appearance at this one. Just need to somehow get my old wheels off and new wheels on with a dodgy looking wheel locking nut tool

Well despite a lack of PR skills an old and unsociable git like me managed to get 22 non mint cars to the 18th meet, along the way some new members took their time to chat to me and once again I made new friends,a trip later in the day for a meal and a birthday celebration for one member who turned 18 that day at the Dick Turpin further down the A127.

Lots of pics and some missed cars, but I was to busy not being perfect.
