View Full Version : Question regarding original alloys on the brm

The usual cosmos alloys on the final BRM don't seem to be present on the original concept BRM, infact they look like the ones fitted to MGF's from what I can find the style was called either cup/abingdon. These two pictures seem to confirm this fact:

They were indeed redrilled MGF alloys. The PCD is different for the MGF.

Ok they certainly, I feel look better, due to the deeper dish, shame I guess that they cannot fit the BRM.

I often looked at that and thought what if....

Suppose you could change the hubs over?

Was that Concept one actually a running version with those wheels? Difference isn't massive at first I thought they were the same.

You could redrill the hub flanges at a 45 degree angle for new studs at 100mm PCD.

Is it really worth it though? A lot of work for a little benefit. I thought about it so I could fit 16" MGTF Trophy wheels but I was just hassle!
