Hi guys,
Haven't kept you all posted on info to do with the site for a while so here goes...
A new moderator was appointed in the form of Phil (Nightfire) principally to look after any technical problems I have with the site as I am quite frankly useless at things like that, we're trying to get the site higher up the search engine listings for places like Google and generally trying to up the 'profile' of the site. Any ideas people have will be more than welcome.
Good news for some of you is that I've finally pulled my finger out of the orifice it was in and batched up the majority of the sitcker requests that I've had and they'll be in the post tomorrow. I thank you all for your patience with this. There are a couple of people that wanted stickers but I didn't have any addresses or knew what you wanted so I'll get in touch with you.
Three meets down and one coming up, this area of the site seems to be growing each time! Its fantastic to get everyone together and chat BRM's for a day every now and again. Dont forget that the next is on the 15th December at Dxford (Rain or shine i'll definitely be there).
The planning for the Anniversary meet is well underway, I have interest from one magazine and am currently looking at the Classic Car Show at the NEC for 2008 as our celebratory location. If you have any views on this please let me know!!
Still no closer to obtaining a build number listing I'm afraid guys, its firmly entrenched with the OMC at present so you'll have to pay your money to get the number from them (Damn you Rover  )
I think thats about it at the moment. Keep posting guys and keep the enthusiasm alive for this great vehicle!
Cheers
Adam
