was wondering how easy they are to replace.

Easy to replace, in a word no. Having taken mine apart over the last couple of days its not something i'd like to attempt in just my garage!

those things between cam and valve??

mine are also noisy, but who cares? it's one of the things that can't do any harm.
If you really want them to be replaced you better do it together with a new belt and waterpump

Yup. They just rattle a bit, usual with all vvc units unfortunately.
