push button

hi guys..has anyone fitted a push start button to there beloved??i saw a thread on the mg forum but when i looked into more detail it would seem my connector plugs for the ignition are different colours from that in the thread??? any help??dont really wanna start cutting wires if there the wrong ones!! cheers:chop:

What's wrong with just turning the key? Start button's are just a lot of pointless fannying about if you ask me.

Best thing to do is Haynes Manual (i hate them but they cover most)

And match the colour plugs up to that.
