Borrowed this from MG-Rover.org, i'll be attending. If any of you fancy coming along then pop your name down in here and i'll update the thread on .org for you :D
Its the beginning of 2008! and after the success of last years meet at Cosford, i can feel that this year is going to be a repeat of the great turn out.
This is open to all of you on MG-Rover.org, and i will be posting a link on the X-power forums as well inviting members from there to come too.
At the moment, the penciled in date is Sunday 4th of May 2008, so Easter is out the way and as far as im aware no major events are on that weekend. (could change though!)
The location is RAF Cosford in Shropshire, details of the Museum can be found here, Cosford Museum
The museum and parking is free (with our own dedicated parking area), and some great exhibits to look round if you are on you own or your with the family.
Its close to Wolverhampton and 10 minutes from Telford to give you an idea of location.
I know some people may want a change, but hopefully we can get something together for later on in the year at another place (bit like a Waterman but somewhere new perhaps?)
Now some people stayed over in the Hotel in Telford, including myself, and was quite literally, a laugh! So if anyone is interested in staying over night on saturday night i can get the hotel information for you and post it up here.
There are some good facilities near by, inc bowling etc.. but we just stayed, had food and beer and enjoyed the company!
Ill start a thread in Event chat so you can put your name down (include if you want to stay over too) and ask any questions etc....
