Those new angel eye lamps............

Hi guys,

Ive just fitted a pair of angel eyes as per adams motor, just interested to know how you got on with fitting the level motors as theres no room for it on the drivers side, I am getting the aims checked tommorow as their all over the place as you would expect and the lower adjuster looks bloody fiddly with a 2mm hex on it!

Any comments/tips on how you found this aspect of fitting/setting up would be appreciated

Didn't fit the levelling motors to mine, couldn't see anywhere they would attach unfortunately.

The adjustment all seems to be manual but you can do it up/down and left/right. I really need to get mine aligned as they're lighting up the tops of buildings at the moment. :slap

Sorted!

The large grey plastic nut with the threaded insert unlocks and allows fitment of the level motors, but the washer filler neck is on the way on the o/s.

I didnt fancy taking it all off again to try and make them fit so a couple of 8mm nuts locked onto the small threaded insert allowed up and down adjustment, managed to get into my local test centre earlier to get them setup, the beam pattern is spot on which was good considering they are aftermarket lamps, and mine where also pointing at the sky!

Did you find yours angled slightly upwards on the right hand side of the beam?

Did you get the chrome or black set?

Both lamps where pointed at the sky and to the right

I reckon if the motors where intstalled at fitting they wouldnt have been as bad, but having sorted easy adjustment it didnt matter, having tried them last night with aims sorted they are a real improvement over the old lamps, my mate says they are as good as the stock projector lights in his corsa vxr so rather a good buy.
