Just went for the first spin with the new Janspeed stainless system fitted - woohoo! Sounds brill, not too Chav Power but quite pleasing and not too intrusive at 70 in 5th. The car feels a tad more responsive, but this may be just in my easily-led mind. And it looks a thousand times better than the rust bucket that it has replaced! :trampoline::trampoline:
Glad your liking it matey! Did you get the rolled tailpipes on the twin?

its a fecking good system isnt it!! did exactly the same as u - went for a spirited drive afterward!!
Wait till u get it in a narrow tunnel
It definately lets the car breathe ALOT better!!
Lol, cheers! If rolled tailpipes are 'rounded' around the ends, then yes. :)
It's still got the bog standard exhaust manifold and cat, and I can tell an improvement even with these in place.
As the stainless system is guaranteed for life, I can start saving for the matching stainless manifiold and sports cat - after the 32 years that it will take, the remaining system should hopefully be fine still! :):):)
Oh, and the insurers know all about it too. :)

how much did it set you back? I want one!!
It was £320 ish inc p&p / vat I think, from the 'Ricky Racing' eBay shop. Top notch service, arrived in a MASSIVE box 1.5 days after confirming the order. Bit pricey, but guaranteed for life. :):)

bought mine from Janspeed Direct for the same price - arrived few days l8r again in a box i could have lived in!! Should be doing the CAT and manifold this summer. :clap2:
I'm quite tempted to do everything bar the back box (I'm of the opinion that twin 3" is too large, being careful how that's worded!) and get a 160 style exhaust made at the local powerflow. Twin 2.5" slash or something I think
