Anyone know of any good body shops in the Kent area for a BRM Respray?!?
Also what sort of prices do we think i'm looking at?
Cheers
G
No recommendations, but I'd budget around 1-2k for a decent job, depending on how much prep needs doing
There's a great place in West Kingsdown, i've had some work done there before. Its called Chapel Coachworks, bloke that owns it is called Gary Chapel, really top guy.
Say you were given the name by TDR Restorations and he'll do you a good price :D

Cheers guys, I spoke to the guy who owns TDR Restorations at the last mg- rover meet at the white hart - nice guy. I'll give him, EMS and chapel coachworks a try when im home.
The reason why i ask is that about a week ago a guy drove down the side of my BRM and scuffed the drivers door and rear quarter - we've agreed that he'll pay the damage without going through any long and boring insurance process which is cool. But he recommended me to a local garage he goes to and even though the owner is a rather nice chap i'm not sure bout it.
A full respray is on my to-do list so I asked him to quote for the damage and the rest of the car, he quoted £550 quid to paint everything apart from the roof - that includes £150 that he said the damage was going to cost.
I'm always up for a bargain but this seems just a lil to cheap!?! I was in the same ball park that Dom suggested.
Well Chapel did some rust repair work on my BRM, can't fault them at all.
why not include the roof?

i dont no - thats just what he said. Still at his prices he would probably do it for another £50 quid, or a case of stella lol.
