Hi,

Has anyone fitted one of these rads?

http://www.adrad.co.uk/icegroup/adrad/new/prices.php?id=RG302&model=200&make=ROVER

I have one ready to go one, but although it looks like it will fit no problem, comparing it with the old rad it has far fewer horizontal rows between the end tanks. I'm concerned it won't provide enough cooling?

Cheers,
Phil.

I fitted one to mine a few months ago. I did a track day which covered about 110 miles of hard driving and the needle didn't move above half way. If it doesn't overheat on a track day mate I would think it'd be fine for road use.

Hope this helps

Thanks for that.

I was just worried as a friend of mine replaced the rad on his metro Gti (many moons ago), and suffered overheating afterwards - it turned out that the rad he'd ben sold had to few rows for the Gti even though the external dimensions were the same so it fitted no problem.

Anyway, now I've been reassured I shall get on and fit it!

Cheers,
Phil.

I've got one of these fitted.

If it's the Nissens one you get delivered, it's stainless steel also, so should last a very long time.

Cheers,

Andy
