throttle body is t16 turbo and gave that little bit more power i thought any way thanks for looking.:fish:

i'm confused the pics there dont have a turbo in them? how'd you get 300bhp?
Looking very orange there matey (I fiddled with the post so we can all see the pics without clicking ;) ).
So do you have a turbo in there now because that's the standard VVC engine isn't it?
I'd lose the 56mm throttle body though, its overkill for the vvc engine and will only create flatspots in the power-band.

is that a serious problem adam its just i cant find a cheap 52mm one only 56mm jobbis and dont want to spend out big, is it same for fitting etc?

i do like the painting though, is it easily done? my cover gets bloody hot, even aftera short journy so much so i cant put my hand on it
You wont really find a cheap 52mm for the exact reason that its the best out there for the VVC engine. The 56mm will fit but its not the best and does require some tinkering to fit.

56mm is to big for this power application IMO, 52mm is more suited.

The 56 does fit but you need to make a t piece and no need to connect electrics as piks suggest i have a spare handy ide let go make me an offer as im in no need of it.Here are the piks of the turbo whitch now has a t28 hybrid turbo nissan pulsar and o-series pistons with m-series rods plus steal cage bearings for the gearbox and polly bushed through out thats how ive got 300 bhp plus but not recorded but ive had 07 porches and lots of bmw's and scoobies ive never got the chance to see one up front they are always in the rear view mirror 07's included hehehe:icecream: proper licked thanks for looking:fish:

Like the T16 route with the BRM.
Another route I have heard of is the VAG Turbo transplant offered by Reyland. (http://reyland.co.uk/Parts.asp?ID=23)
No doubt both equal a rapid BRM, I will certainly look at this if my engine ever lets go!

Sorry guys - with a T28 and std FMIC - nowhere near 300 bhp - you will be running 12psi max and this is percieved max psi for the engine.
The engine has a turbo plenum which means it has the M series pistons.. BUT with no battery to boot conversion (for an ITG filter and box) and no FMIC i say 220 -230 MAX...
I had FMIC, Uprated T25 - Batt to boot and Apexi AVCR in my Ti running 11 - 12psi and that was 220 max - rollered.
Apologies if i have offended anyone.. but that is the truth

The T16 was 197bhp as standard wasn't it? No doubt extensive work would be needed to get it near to 300bhp?
The VAG 1.8t interests me as this is a more powerful engine as standard. The costs of this would be quite high and would be quite a weird combo.

it has a garrett t32 now and front mount and mattie the turbo engine has t-series pisons and rods not m-series as did the earley 1s im running o-series pistons with m-series rods and scimmed the block to accomerdate for this and is running 20 psi. im also running zs discs and 629ti calipers and carriers to make the bugger stop as it wouldnt with standards (very hairy)

Sounds an extensive spec - better than what you first quoted. Try Honda Legend Calipers - the best mod i did for my Ti

The difference being with thw VAG you can alter the EMS (ECU) you cannot chip/remap a T16 Bosch ecu - no way, if's or buts. So you have to uprate hard parts - which as your carp man has quoted - skim block and M and O series goodies will make the engine super strong to run 20 psi.
I would an FMIC mounted correctly on any car will see a 20 - 30% TORQUE gain NOT HP but torque. You then have to decide what turbo (bigger) you want - and these aren't cheap parts.
The VAG option is remap the ecu which the engine can handle and as is siemens is easy to do. this will on a std VAG car give you 40 - 60 bhp, dependant upon your car (as remap not chip) then add on what you would get from the FMIC and other bits - you have a big power gain for modest outlay.
The rover you would have to DTA/Emerald piggy back management.
