It may have been better to ask this before I bought it but how easy is the Janspeed exhaust to fit to the standard cat?
What a very civilised thread this is regarding the ebay transaction, well done to all concerned - just shows that BRM people are a good bunch! :):)
My Janspeed system fitted to the standard cat just fine, however there was one badly seized nut/stud which needed grinding off and replacing with a halfords M8 (I think) jobby.
If the nuts on the original come off OK, then no worries at all. :):)

Just a quick question, is the mid part of the exhaust from Janspeed? Would it make a difference if I left the original mid pipe on and just fitted the Janspeed back box? I can't get the 3 nuts off that connect the mid pipe to the cat.
Thanks

well i have a mixture from the cat half way back is standard then welded midway is my powerflow ss only as it was the wrong fittment so had to basterdise it somewhat, mate if you have the system just soak the bolts over night they will evantually come off or take it to a garage and get them cut off and replaced if you have the correct system its worth having it all on.
