right doing my head in now so getting new wheels, got a full set of cosmos, 1 goodyear f1 brand new rest falken with very good tred, offers.

the front wheels although looking near perfect are letting air out the tyres are perfect so its either valve or corrosion i simply cant see any corrossion but want a change of alloys anyway.

I just want to say that everybody who offers less then 250£ is a piece off ass. Look a the price they cost new, then take the small price of some second hand tyres. you know what I mean?

Tires aside here for a min, the rims do potentially leak air, so not going to be usable long term?

Cosmos alloys have been on sale on here for £260 new (http://www.thebrm.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=113)

I would say £150 would be reasonable price if rims not viable for use?

My Cosmos alloys cost me £95 for a set of four, brand new, boxed, on ebay. Tyres were a bit dearer, though!

I sold 4 cosmos on ebay for £70. tyres were all good but two of them were leaking air...

I pay 100€ for a SP9000, which is a very good price here. that makes 400€ (230£)
let us take 200£ for nearly new tyres + 50 for the wheels, so 250£ is a good price for second hands cosmos.

I'll ignore the piece of ass comment, because I watched a decent set that don't leak (and with tyres) go on the mg-rover forums for £200
