Seem to be getting a slight knocking which is noticible on loose gravel surfaces.
It feels like there is slight play in the steering when moving, steering wheel itself seems to be tight with no side to side play so I guess it is something suspension wise.
Car is due a service next week and the garage reckon it could be track rod bushes that are worn.
Has anyone else had this issue?
No, but it does sound like worn bushes. Guess that's what's going on my car next then!

What kind of milage is your car on Dom? Mine is just over 60k and due a 10k service.
Looks like it might be quite costly this time for the service but luckily Cam belts aren't due for another 30k.
Hoping to get the bushes changed as well but hoping it won't cost the earth.

or it could be anti roll bars, i had to chabge them previously on other cars its a harsh knock but again, its down to the rubber on them corroding, basically mate grab it and see if it has play, its a good bet to look there.

Rossy,
BRM uses different ARBs (thicker bars) compared to other 200s, I guess the bushes can be changed for the ARB to?
