looks like cheap crap and will not give a 40mm drop
no springs will give you that on a brm, your best shot are the x-power springs for an mg zr 160
or do it good and buy some collies

mate if i could afford coilovers i'd not have a brm without offence i need it dropped at the lowest cost possible.

then don't drop it
I think you english people have a very good line for that:

Pay peanuts, get monkeys!

Eibach are masters of suspension, and for less then 200£ you have some great springs
Avo is cheaper and on mgzr there are a lot of people who are happy with them

but in my opinion your suspension takes care of your contact with the road, same as with your tyres. and trust me, you don't want to lose that contact

Do not for the love of god drop it on MGZR Avo springs with standard shocks. I learnt first hand that its just dangerous and makes your car handle like a bag of spuds!

lesson nr one: you cannot drop the car 40 mm with rover 200 springs because the brm is already 20mm lower then standard, so it wil only drop 20 mm with 40 mm springs

lesson nr two: you can't take zr lowering springs because adam told that the handling will be crap

conclusion: if you really want to drop 40 mm you have to buy ZR160 shocks and ZR160 lowering springs
