Hi everyone:)
I've allways liked BRM's and have finally made the decision to get one!
My dad has had a 200 VI for ages, but I like all the extras you get with the BRM's:icecream:
I've been lurking around for a while but thought I had better register as it might increase my chances of getting the car I want.
What are the main areas I should be looking at when buying a BRM? My mechanical knowledge is fairly good, and I am aware of the HG problems they suffer from:shutup: But are there any other particular areas they are weak in?
I have seen a few with rusty rear wheel arches, and assumed this could be due to old accident damage as my dads VI arches are perfect. Are the rear arches normally a problem?
I thought I was getting away from rusty rear wheel arches when I sold my metro fleet!!
I'm sure I will have more questions as I go on, posting up a wanted add now.....

I was supposed to be looking at one today, but it was sold before I had chance to see it:( I've found another that I'm just e-mailing the seller about.
I'm looking around the 1500 mark.

Welcome to the site matey!

Good luck in your search. Arches do tend to go even without any damage unfortunately. Check the boot hinges for rust too, easy fix though!
