My new BRM is currently fitted with the standard R770 Rover radio/cassette player (although strangely, no CD changer ?). During the head gasket repair, the car's battery must have been removed because the sterio now doesn't work. I have the code to re-activate it, but unfortunately the car's LCD clock/display is broken.

The owner's manual says something about an entertainment book, which I don't have. Does anyone have this book or know how I can enter the sterio code without a display ?

I'm going to buy a good head unit soon anyway, but it bugs me that meanwhile I have no music.

I was cleaning my car recently when I noticed a big blue folder in the pocket behind the passenger seat. Not only did it contain all the missing service history and a spare key fob (for which I was just about to pay £120), but it also contained the in-car entertainment book and another keycode. I put the keycode in and it re-activated the sterio.
