Very recently aquired a nice BRM (had it for a week now) , we were not looking for one but once we had seen it it was a done deal , its allways nice to find an easily accessable font of Knowledge just a few clicks away . So once I have read through the various threads im sure there will be some questions .
welcome... let me know when you find that font of knowledge :D

Thanks for the warm welcome , where can i get hold of another alarm remote ? the car only came with one key and remote .
The only other issue is the boot catch not always catching , but having read through some of the threads it may just need cleaning out .
So far we are very happy with the car , and from what we have read here and elsewhere on the internet it would appear our car has all the extras (air con , passenger airbag , cd multichanger ).
I will be buying a haynes manual soon but still need to find an owners manual as the car only came with some service history (is this available to dowload from anywhere?).
I will pm the VIN soon to try to ID the build number .
Remotes should still be available from an ex MG-Rover dealer and they can program it to your ecu, etc.
Boot is usually something as simple as the catch becoming misaligned, so a tweak or two will sort it, or a good does of WD40 into the mechanism to free any seizing parts.
Haynes are a bit useless for the BRM unfortunately. The standard R200 or R25 manual will cover most things, but there isn't one that does either the BRM specifically or the VVC engine. Best bet is to get hold of one of the Rave owner manual CD's from ebay, they cost a few quid but have EVERYTHING you will need to dismantle (and hopefully put back together) your BRM.
Good to hear its got all of the goodies, not many came with all the extras. Owners manuals are hard to get hold of (the BRM specific section anyway), although I did notice someone post up a copy of it the other day so I will have to find and sticky that! :D

Rovertech forum used to supply the Rave manual as a download, sadly doesn't seem to be up there anymore.
