July BRM meet 20/07/08

Ok folks decided the place for the next site meet to be held on Sunday 20th July!

The venue is.........

STEAM - The Museum of the Great Western Railway

Meeting at 10:00am for a tour of the museum and then off to a local pub for some lunch later in the day.

Plenty of oppurtunities for photos along the way.

Rightio, too late to arrange parking outside the museum i'm afraid, so its just the normal car park.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend this event now though, but I hope everyone else will go along and have a fab time and take some good piccies?!!

Well I drove up but didn't see anyone at all, I guess I was in the right place but maybe not... drove around for about half an hour and couldn't spot any BRMs?!

that's exactly what I did. Which car park were you in? I left the car and had a walk around the 3 car parks but didn't see anyone. To be honest, I wasn't expecting anyone to turn up.

Maybe that's the disadvantage of having a green grill - it doesn't stand out!

Nope, not a soul. Did you go into one of the ticketed car parks? Did you visit the museum?

Nope basically just lapped swindon a few times, checked the car parks and then drove all the way back, same as the Greenwich meet lol.

doh! If you'd have popped into the national trust car park you'd have probably found me (or at least the car if I was off on a walk). Parked next to the steam museum in a not quite official car park...

... now what was it they say about prior preparation?
