Hi Guys,

I know its late notice but if anyone is interested there is a track day which is going to be held at Keevil Airfield on 05/07/2008 (this saturday) 1pm - 5pm. Which is in Trowbridge in Wiltshire. They are only charging £50 for an open pit session, which is a bargain.
This is the link:

I am up for doing it, let me know if any of you are.

Cheers

May be interested, is it pay on the day? Also do you need anything like a helmet to take part? (got one so shouldn't be a problem if you do).

Hello,

You book online at that link, as I doubt there will be any spaces left on the day. Yes you need a helmet which they charge £10 rental but as you have one there is no charge. The total cost is £50. All you need is your road legal car, helmet. However your car can not be louder than 100 db at 4500 rpms @ 0.5 meter. Let me know if you book.

Cheers

Iain

I want to do this but am waiting to see if anyone else from here can make it? Yes it's an open pit lane from 1-5pm which means you can go around as little or as many times as you want within that time frame. If you look at the venues page on there web site it tells you the course layout.

I'm in two minds about this, I haven't got trackday insurance so would risk my every day car around a track where everyone is bombing it... Can you come along and spectate as I may be interested in future but would be good to see what the day would be like, anyone know?

yeah you can come watch but if you go on you tube and type in keevil it'll come up with old events and its really to gain experience before going on a track its really fast road driving and thats it slow or as fast as you want its nothing your car wont go through normally just a few more revs.

also not busy at the event its normally 99 but 50 as numbers are small so a good time to get out and try it plus its not jam packed anyway plenty of time to do things as you please its my daily driver to but hey ho lets have some fun.
