Just recently I've noticed some clutch judder when the engine is cold. Once warmed up, the clutch is smooth with no hint of slipping even when given a good thrashing!
What do you think I should be looking at - engine mounts?

Ware on the clutch ,pressure plate or thrust bearing ,also there could be a dust build up inside the casing ,how old is it ?

Would not have thought mounts as you would get it every time.
Without looking to see if you had a clutch fitted recently, I would GUESS friction plate.

Hmmm. The clutch was changed in 2012 when the release bearing gave up the ghost at 192,000 kms. Now at 353,000 kms. If it continues, I'll get the lot changed. I wonder if Bennyboy is coming this way any time ....?

I would say it does sound like a clutch issue probably pressure plate related, also can happen if oil gets on the clutch from the rear main oil seal or gearbox oil seal, you notice any oil leaks? And the answer to the other question is yes will be around your way around the 14th of may on the motorbike.

Haha, I garage would have it done in three hours, however they wouldn't be laid on the floor with a gearbox on ones chest trying to line the first motion shaft up with the centre of the clutch.
