    I have asked for £3500 with a 250 excess, dont think i am being to unrealistic, will see what they say lol

    To be fair the £3500 i have asked for is top brm money but a few have sold for around that figure so dont think its far off the mark.

    When I was insuring mine I put a agreed value of £3k and they said they will put it at £4k because that was the first one that they had insured I didn't argue

    I phoned quite alot up, ended up going with peter best insurance an agreed value plus limited mileage, mileage limited to 1500 came in at £243, could have done 3000 miles and that would cost around the 300 mark, you dont build a no claim up with it being a classic policy plus you need another car insured as it can only be used as a second car. Still think its quite exspensive to be fair but not much you can do.

    Yeah these cars for some reason on agreed value are stupid money! My MGBGT is £90 5000 miles a year and £100 exess and my BRM on unlimited normal insurance is £180 again with £100 excess. This is why I have not gone down that route yet, it’s stupid money. However I do uderstnad why you would but for me they are ripping us off.

    Advance insurance I have my home insurance with them and my golf cannot remember how much but they did me a great deal they swapped no claim bonus about but this year I can have classic car insurance if you want there number I can give you it.

    Forgot to say I have recommended quite a few people and they have all took up there quotes if you do phone them mention my name it may help.

    I've had an email back the other day, they have agreed the value at £3500 they also pointed out that the value of these rovers are going up and for me to keep an eye on them!
